Favorites for Early Fall

August 31, 2021August 30, 2021 ~ taylorrcannon ~ Leave a comment

My favorite season is slowly approaching. While I’m still embracing the warm weather and enjoying time outside, I can’t help but look forward to cozy and snuggly fall days. Not only is fall my favorite season, but I truly enjoy the transition period from summer to fall. Chilly mornings and warm afternoons are lovely. However … Continue reading Favorites for Early Fall

No Shop July

July 1, 2019July 1, 2019 ~ taylorrcannon ~ 3 Comments

First, how is it already July?! This year is half way over and I feel like it JUST started. Which makes me look back on my goals at the beginning of the year... maybe you remember my post about cutting back and taking a shopping detox? Well its now been 6 months and I can … Continue reading No Shop July

A Favorite Accessory

September 4, 2018September 4, 2018 ~ taylorrcannon ~ 5 Comments

I could never deny the fact that I love clothes. I didn't used to have this obsession, but I think after wearing a school uniform for 7 years it took me a while to not only find my own sense of style, but enjoy the process of expressing myself through what I wear.Even though I … Continue reading A Favorite Accessory

Dressing For You

February 26, 2018February 25, 2018 ~ taylorrcannon ~ 6 Comments

For 7 years I wore a school uniform. Of course we had the occasional "dress down" day and I wore regular clothes on the weekends, but after graduating from the uniform it took me a while to really figure out my own personal style. Honestly it wasn't until the past year that I really started … Continue reading Dressing For You

Wardrobe Basic: Layering Turtleneck

February 21, 2018January 17, 2019 ~ taylorrcannon ~ 7 Comments

If you were to look inside my closet you would probably notice that it is most filled with neutrals, basic pieces and lots of stripes. I used to think that basic pieces meant boring and that in order to wear something fun it needed to be new, trendy or bold. But lets be honest, that … Continue reading Wardrobe Basic: Layering Turtleneck

Black & White

February 15, 2018February 19, 2018 ~ taylorrcannon ~ 5 Comments

This year I am trying to keep my style and purchases simple and straightforward. While I normally don't jump on trends or fast fashion I don't always stick to what is practical. This is partially why I created the Seasonal Capsule Wardrobe Series, because I want to make sure that I am really utilizing what … Continue reading Black & White

Pretty in Pink

February 6, 2018February 5, 2018 ~ taylorrcannon ~ 13 Comments

I am so not a pink person. In fact, until recently you could not find a single pink item in my wardrobe. It is still a shock to me that I chose to wear a pink dress to my senior prom. Never the less, I have been loving light pink lately and it all started … Continue reading Pretty in Pink

Velvet Leggings For The Holidays

December 19, 2017December 18, 2017 ~ taylorrcannon ~ 7 Comments

I normally have a pretty simple and basic style. I rarely branch out or try anything trendy, but this season I couldn't resist. I recently ordered a pair of velvet leggings and I am so happy I did. I was almost certain after I hit "place order" that I would most likely send them back … Continue reading Velvet Leggings For The Holidays

Sweater Weather

October 11, 2017October 10, 2017 ~ taylorrcannon ~ 5 Comments

It's that time of the year. Time to break out the sweaters. This is something I look forward to all year long. From the time I pack my sweaters away for summer I anxiously await the arrival of cooler temps to break them out again. I honestly would wear sweaters year round if I could... … Continue reading Sweater Weather

I’ve decided I’m done with winter and am dressing for spring despite it being only 30° when I left the house this morning 🤍
There is still so much snow on the ground but I can’t help planning out our garden for this summer.
Baking but make it blue & white 💙🤍
At the beginning of the year I decided I wanted to make everyday a little more beautiful and it’s made all the difference in my outlook and the way I approach even the simplest of tasks. Wear the cute clothes, use the fancy dishes, light your favorite candles. Stop waiting for “a special moment” and instead make every moment special because it IS 💙🤍
