A year ago today I married my best friend. I cannot believe that a year has already passed, but I am so thankful for ever day spent with Andrew.

This past week I was looking through our wedding photos as we were getting ready to celebrate our anniversary. There is one in particular that is my favorite from the night. It was a candid photo that our photographer took right after the ceremony.

Andrew and I stopped in the entrance of Wilderness Ridge to take in everything that just happened.  If there is one picture that could sum up how I felt and still feel about our wedding day and marriage, this would be it. Our happiness, love, and excitement shows in this photo.

We have the same happiness, love and excitement now and I know we will continue to for many years. I am so happy to have married my best friend and to have a lifetime together.

December 22nd, 2015 was one of the happiest days of my life. But truthfully, everyday I get to spend with my amazing husband is also one of the best days of my life. The goal is not to have a beautiful wedding, but to instead have a beautiful marriage.
