Hello from Minnesota! We have been in our house for about 3 weeks now and it is slowly starting to feel like home. Leaving Omaha was very emotional for me but I think the chaos of moving and being so busy getting settled left me little time to really feel sad. Our new house still doesn’t quite feel like “home” yet, but I know it will once we are fully settled.

Things are still pretty chaotic around here (our living room is mostly just a dumping ground for cardboard boxes right now) but things are coming together and I think both kids feel at home which was my top priority. Their rooms were the first to get set up and really the only rooms that look remotely put together at the moment.

Our house is mostly furniture-less until we finish painting and figure out what we want to order. It will be a while longer before I share any posts sharing what we’ve done to the house, but I can’t wait to show you what we’ve done.

I want to say a quick thank you to everyone who has checked in to see how are doing and to everyone who has helped us get settled and welcomed us to our new town. I think we are really going to enjoy our time here in Minnesota.
