About 15 months ago I remember sitting in my office at work talking with my friend Cynthia about how I needed something that would allow me to be creative and keep me busy (mostly to take my mind off of how busy my husband is with work). She encouraged me to start a blog (she even helped me come up with the name). The days following she would check in and see how things were going in terms of launching the site and then I finally took the leap and hit publish on Oct. 3rd, 2016. So as of tomorrow, Living Taylored is officially 1 year old!
I didn’t really have any expectations of what would happen after I created Living Taylored, or what this first year would contain. I will admit that there were several times throughout the year when I questioned if I should keep going, but I would remind myself that even though it can be challenging or frustrating at times, I truly enjoy it. This year was far better than I imagined and creating Living Taylored has been such a wonderful creative outlet.
In addition to being able to create content and be creative, Living Taylored has enabled me to meet some wonderful people along the way. Fellow bloggers (and non-bloggers!), young married couples, and even a few fellow med-school wives! While blogging can sometimes feel a little lonely (like the only person I talk to is the computer) it has actually opened up a wonderful community for me and for that I am so thankful.
I told myself once I hit one year I would re-evaluate and decide if I want to keep going. It may not seem like it, but keeping Living Taylored running takes a lot of energy and while I love it, it can also be frustrating. But after looking back on this past year and seeing how much the site has grown I know I want to keep going. I have so much fun creating content and connecting with readers. And speaking of readers, I am so thankful to everyone who takes the time to read Living Taylored and reach out with comments, encouragement, and inspiration.
I know that this blog wouldn’t be growing and developing without the people who read and following along. So I want to hear from you as I begin this 2nd year. What do YOU want to see more of? I always love hearing your ideas, feedbacks and requests so feel free to reach out! you can comment here, send me an email via the contact page, or reach out on Instagram!
In the mean time, here are the Top 5 posts from Year 1! Enjoy 🙂

Congratulations on your first year of blogging! It’s a big accomplishment!! Looking back I feel like the first year was the hardest. I still question from time to time about continuing this journey but it’s the people I interact with that keep me coming back as well. xo, Sierra Beautifully Candid
