I decided to switch it up a bit for this weeks Motivational Monday and recommend a motivational book that I really loved.
The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin
I first read The Happiness Project my senior year of high school. My mom and a few of her friends were reading it and I decided I wanted to join. As a 17/18 year old at the time I really didn’t expect much from the book nor did I think I would enjoy it or take anything away from it. But 6 years later and I still think about what I read and learned from it.
This past month I have been in an odd slump. Things just feel off. I am lacking motivation, I can’t stick to routine, I don’t feel quite as organized as I would like. The best way I can describe it is like the past 30 days feeling like one really long Monday… fun, right?
When trying to figure out how I can get back to my normal self I have kept thinking about this book. I have decided that I am going to read it again for a little push in the right direction. And with the season changing it seems like a fitting time. Spring cleaning, right? Well, spring cleaning my mood sounds like a good idea.
