I have a strange love for decorating cookies. I’m not that great at it and to be honest I really don’t enjoy eating them once decorated but any holiday or theme seems an appropriate time to decorate cookies.

Andrew and I made and decorated Christmas cookies back in December and it was so much fun. Just a few weeks ago I found Valentine’s Day cookie cutters at Sur La Table and decided that it was necessary to decorate more cookies.

I don’t think Andrew enjoys this nearly as much as I do but he was a trooper and decorated all 3 dozen cookies with me. Like I mentioned before, my mom always decorates for Valentine’s Day and makes fun themed treats so we made sure to package some of our creations to share with our families.

They may not look like professionally decorated cookies, but it was so much fun to spend time together!
