I look forward to sharing this post every year; a round up of my favorite things. They may be items that I have enjoyed for several years or something I discovered this year.

The older I get the more selective I am in so many aspects. What I buy, how I spend my time, what I enjoy. And it’s not in a picky way, it’s that I have discovered what I love, what brings me joy and happiness and I focus on those things.
My “Favorite Things” posts are never intended to be a list of things I think you need. It’s simply a list of things that I truly enjoy or have helped add value or joy to my days when I use it and think others may enjoy as well. So here is this years round up:
Style
Dubarry: I was lucky to work with Dubarry this year, a brand that I have admired for several years. After receiving their Galway boots I knew they would become a new favorite. I wore them almost daily this fall for everything from running errands, school drop-off to weekend hikes and trips to the park.
Cashmere Wrap: This knit wrap/cape continues to be one of my most worn pieces. Truly I would add just about everything I own from Alice Walk to this list but I really love this knit piece.
Beauty & Self-care
Slip Silk Pillowcase: I’ve lost track of how many years I have had my silk pillowcase but it is still one of my favorite things. I have a couple so that even if one is in the wash I’m never without. It has made a huge difference for both my skin and hair. It has helped reduce breakouts and always decreases frizz and damage to my hair.
Shark Flex Styler: I shared a review here of the Flex Styler and I have loved using it this year. I’m not someone who spends a lot of time on my hair but I still love having a curl to it and looking put together. This tool has been great for quick and easy at home blowouts.
Living A Beautiful Life: My mother-in-law gifted me this book at the start of the year and I absolutely loved it. It really changed my outlook on our home and the things I surround myself with. I’m hoping to share a full blog post soon, but if you are looking for an encouraging read, this book is great for the new year.
Kids
Lovevery: the Lovevery Playkits continue to be a favorite in our house. Jack received his last package (as he is almost 5) and I think the kits just keep getting better. They have such unique and creative toys to help the kids learn and grow. They are the majority of what we have out in our playroom and always a hit when friends are over.
What are some of your favorite things from this year?
