Winter Capsule Wardrobe: Layered Looks

Every winter I end up feeling like I wear the same outfit over and over attempting to bundle up and keep warm. This year I have been trying my best to layer different pieces in new ways so I don’t get bored with the same outfit every week. When I created the Winter Capsule I wanted to make sure that I chose several pieces that could easily be layered together or still worn on their own. Today I am sharing 3 layered looks from the pieces in the Winter Capsule.

Classic Twist

I struggle to not dress too casual in the winter. Honestly my go-to outfit is usually a sweater, jeans and winter boots of some sort. So finding a happy medium like this dressy casual look was great. Perfect for casual Friday at work or a brunch/lunch date on the weekends.

Bundled Up

This look has plenty of layers and keeps you warm without looking too bundled up. A turtleneck layered with a crew neck sweater and vest is just the right amount. And if you get too warm once inside you can easily shed the vest.

Everyday Layers

Like I said before, a sweater, jeans and boots is my preferred winter outfit. Adding a button down under the sweater makes it look so much more put together. This look is great for running errands, weekend breakfast or a coffee date.
