With Earth Day coming up I am dedicating this week to highlighting Earth and nature (see my Monday & Wednesday’s posts).
Today I am sharing a few of my favorite books and documentaries that focus on the environment. I know when you hear documentary or non-fiction you probably think “boring” and have flash backs to school. This selection of books and documentaries are actually quite interesting and I promise if you give them a try you won’t feel like you are in school, but you will learn something!
- The Golden Spruce by John Vaillant
- The Wild Trees by Richard Preston
- Seeds of Hope by Jane Goodall
- Hope for Animals and Their World by Jane Goodall
As Earth Day is tomorrow take some time to learn a little more about our environment and the world around you. Pick up a book, watch a documentary or go out and explore. Tomorrow I will be sharing a list of a few ways to celebrate and acknowledge Earth Day.
