Transition Outfits: Spring

We have had a series of unusually warm days lately and even though I love fall and winter it has me in the mood for nicer spring days. While I know this streak of spring like weather likely wont last long, I am excited for spring clothes.

This time of year can be so difficult to dress for with cooler mornings, warmer afternoons, rain/slush, and cool breezes. As always I like to stick with light layers that I can add or shed through out the day and I wear lighter fabrics so if it does warm up I’m not too hot.

My transitional wardrobe is usually jeans, a basic tee or button up with a cardigan, blazer or light weight jacket paired with flats, loafers or Sperry’s.

The two outfits below are great for the transition into spring and if it is still a bit too chilly for sneakers or loafers both outfits can easily be paired with riding boots or Hunters.
