As much as I love fall its probably no surprise that I love dressing for Thanksgiving. As much as I would love to really dress up our family Thanksgiving has always been more casual (think jeans and a nice shirt or sweater). Some years I wear a skirt or dress but with so much going on I usually end up a bit more casual. I’ve put together a few outfit ideas that are perfect for any Thanksgiving gathering wether you keep things very casual and cozy or like to be a bit dressier.
If you’re family is anything like mine you may start the day in pajamas watching the parade. I love this pair for Thanksgiving but if you like a more festive and merry option we have and love these too! And now onto the main outfits!

Comfortably Dressy: This first outfit is a great option for someone who wants to look dressy and put together but their priority is comfort. These houndstooth pants are flannel (like wearing pajamas!) but the front pleat gives them a dressy look. Pair them with a comfortable sweater and depending on how dressy you want to be you could do a pair of simple sneakers or a tonal flat.
Cozy Casual: If sweats are more your vibe for cooking and enjoying your Thanksgiving meal then I love these autumnal colored sweatpants and matching top! If you want something a little more luxe I also really love these cashmere pants and sweater. If you want to elevate it just a little you could wear a white button down under neath to give it a slightly more sophisticated touch.
Festive Casual: This wrap is so lovely for fall with its rich autumnal tones. Pair it with a coordinating turtleneck or sweater and your favorite jeans. And of course my favorite flats that go with everything are perfect addition. I also love this plaid wrap or this cape coat is lovely for a dressier look.
Autumn Elegance: This dress is truly the BEST, I now have it in multiple colors. It is so flattering and versatile. It works well with flats, heels and boots. Even though we don’t get super dressy for Thanksgiving I am really leaning toward this as my outfit. I have also tried it paired with a simple turtleneck underneath for cooler weather as well.
Do you have your outfit selected for Thanksgiving already? How dressy do you like to get?
