One of my favorite traditions on Thanksgiving is watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (This year is the 90th Anniversary of the parade and I know it won’t disappoint!). Before the craziness of dinner prep begins we usually sit around in our cozy PJs, coffee in hand, and watch the beginning of the parade.
Eventually we start to prepare for our dinner keeping the parade on to enjoy the festivities while we make our favorite Thanksgiving dishes. My family is big on traditions and for us, Thanksgiving is full of them. We each have our signature dish that we love making to help ease mom’s work load. For me its the pumpkin pie, my brother does the rolls, and my sister makes the green bean casserole and the rest is usually a team effort.
This year I will be waking up on Thanksgiving morning in these beyond cozy flannel PJs from LL Bean. They are perfect for cozy nights and lounging around.
What are some of your favorite thanksgiving day traditions?
