Closet Clean Out

March 14, 2017March 11, 2017 ~ taylorrcannon ~ 6 Comments

One of my goals for this month was to clean out our closets. I try to do this every few months or at least seasonally. Going through our clothes several times a year may seem excessive but it really helps keep things tidy and organized. If you are cleaning out your closet in winter it is … Continue reading Closet Clean Out

Second Semester Struggle

January 7, 2017 ~ taylorrcannon ~ Leave a comment

The length of winter break is both a blessing and a curse. After studying for finals and finishing lengthy research papers, presentations, and research projects a break is much needed. And of course being home for the holidays with friends, family, and loved ones is always exciting. Winter break for me was always about 4 … Continue reading Second Semester Struggle

I’ve decided I’m done with winter and am dressing for spring despite it being only 30° when I left the house this morning 🤍
There is still so much snow on the ground but I can’t help planning out our garden for this summer.
Baking but make it blue & white 💙🤍
At the beginning of the year I decided I wanted to make everyday a little more beautiful and it’s made all the difference in my outlook and the way I approach even the simplest of tasks. Wear the cute clothes, use the fancy dishes, light your favorite candles. Stop waiting for “a special moment” and instead make every moment special because it IS 💙🤍
