Yesterday I had the chance to preview this new collection with the lovely Sarah Flint & Mary Orton themselves. It was so fun to hear the inspiration and process behind these beautiful pieces. The best way I can think to describe this collaboration (other than PERFECTION) is autumnal British academia in shoe form (which is pretty much the trifecta for me personally).
I had seen sketches of a few of the shoes several months ago and knew I would love them but this collection is one of my favorites to date. These styles are timeless with historical touches like the brogue detailing on several of the pieces. My absolute favorite is the newly created “Perfect Cap Toe Flat“. It is similar to my favorite Sarah Flint style, the Sacchetto, but a simpler cut and these current styles have a brogue detail cap toe. It comes in three different color ways including an espresso suede, a beautiful burgundy and a lovely ivory that would be great with winter whites. If there is one thing I can’t resist in a shoe, it’s a cap toe silhouette.
I’ve shared before how much I love my Sarah Flint scarf belts and this collection includes a new version which is reversible as always but this one also has lovely brogue detailing too and perfectly matches these flats and their newest boot style.
Sarah Flint also has truly lovely silk scarves and I think the scarf included in this launch is my favorite so far. It has beautiful florals in a variety of colors to fit with several different outfits and styles. Wear it solo or pair it with a scarf belt for an extra special look!
