Living Lately No. 58

Happy Friday! It has been a very long time since I have shared a Living Lately post. I’m trying to get back into blogging this year because it brings me joy so it seemed like a good time to share a little round up. The Christmas decor has come down at our house and school has resumed so we are getting back into a routine. I often find that this time of the year is hardest on my mental health so I have really been leaning into cozy moments. Lots of candles lit, warm cups of tea and embracing the slowness of mid-winter. I hope you are able to do the same and focus on things that bring you joy.

Inspiration

  • Helping LA: I’m sure by now you’ve seen news of the devastating fires in California. If you are wanting to help but aren’t sure where to start here is a list of opportunities. My friend Samantha is also collecting monetary donations to put toward necessities for victims of the fire or you can send her clothing donations as well. Contact her here.
  • Books for the New Year: This time of year so many people are setting goals or hoping for a fresh start. I have previously shared a round up of my favorite books that are great for reading in January (or anytime really) and help establish new routines or prioritize goals.

  • JSH Home Essentials Valentine Collection: I am such a fan of the lovely pieces that JSH. Her Valentine’s collection just released this week and it is full of fun and festive pieces.
  • A Dash of Solt: My friend Shannon is focusing on her blog this year and I have been loving her posts. If you like classic, Coastal style give her a follow!
  • Wit & Whimsy’s Favorite Things: Meghan is a go to for recommendations. Everything I have purchased at her recommendation has become a new favorite of mine. Her round up of her favorite things from 2024 is full of great pieces!

Reading

  • Be Ready When the Luck Happens by Ina Garten. I love books that focus on beautiful living and making simple moments beautiful. Hosting and cooking are two of my favorite ways to show my love so I think this will be full of inspiration.
