The older I get the more I focus on quality and timeless pieces rather than whatever is currently trending. Finding pieces that are both practical and stylish is a priority for me. I threw this cozy cardigan on as soon as I opened my package and I’m actually wear it over a dress as I write this post. The contrast trim of the sleeves stood out to me as a fun way to add a bit more color to a simple outfit. As someone who usually sticks to navy and beige I like the additional pops of lighter blue and I knew it would look especially good with the floral trim shirt.
I was excited about the color of these jeans as I thought they would be a great year round color as they could easily pair with flats but also work well with riding boots in the autumn. I was pleasantly surprised when I put them on just how comfortable they are. They feel more like a pair of leggings but fit like jeans and I love that about them!
This top is such a fun spin on a classic button down. The floral trim makes it pop, especially with the sleeves cuffed just a little. For someone who doesn’t typically wear a lot of color or patterns this is such a fun and simple addition for spring and summer. This is such a well and thoughtfully designed blouse. It contains two hidden buttons to avoid the blouse gaping open at the chest buttons. It also comes in blue and pink. And if you are someone who loves bold and beautiful patterns then you will love Cordings selection of shirts.
Until the past few years I never wore belts or simple accessories but I recently realized just how much they can add to an outfit. Even understated pieces like a classic brown leather belt can really complete a look and make it feel more put together.
While these pieces are a bit more summery they will all transition so well into fall.
