A few weeks ago I shared a list of brands I love from “across the pond”. Dubarry is an Irish brand known for their incredible town and country styles. I have admired their pieces for years and today I am excited to share with you a few of my favorites.
While Minnesota isn’t exactly the same as the UK or Irish Countryside having quality pieces that can fair well in all kinds of weather is a must. I try to “dress up” everyday regardless of what I have going on, even if that means going on walks or running around outside with the kids. I love that these Dubarry pieces can allow me to live an active life and explore our new state without sacrificing style or comfort. It’s important to me that we spend time outside no matter the weather and Dubarry has the perfect pieces for just that.
I have admired these boots for several years. They are the quintessential country boot and perfect for an outdoor lifestyle. Living in Minnesota I have learned to try and embrace the outdoors even in the colder months. These are perfect for exploring even in the muck and mud after rain and snow. They are completely waterproof and lined inside making them quite warm on the coldest of days. I’ve worn them several times while going on walks and exploring our local trails and they are so comfortable.
Tweed gloves are such a classic and timeless piece. This pair is not only beautiful but durable and warm, perfect for exploring both town and country. They are lined with cashmere making them super soft and extra cozy. I know I will get plenty of use out of them this fall and winter.
I don’t wear hats very often but I couldn’t resist this one. These are such popular pieces in Ireland and the UK, especially for countryside walks or sporting weekends. It felt like a good way to pay homage to the lifestyle that Dubarry was built around.
When I think of the countryside I think of sporting weekends and pheasant hunts. While I don’t hunt myself, I love pheasants. I fell in love with this stole months ago when I first saw it. Its a beautiful piece perfect for layering and adding elegance even to winter bulk. I love wearing it as a scarf or draped around my shoulders on chilly days at home.
Dubarry has plenty of other wonderful pieces along with mens wear as well. I really love their beautiful knitwear, accessories, and variety of boots. They focus on classic and functional styles suited for everything from hikes and exploring to dinner out or school drop off. I hope you love their collection as much as I do.
