I’ve always loved getting Christmas ornaments on our travels. Something to add to our tree each year to help us remember a fun moment. I knew I wanted to do the same with my kids as a way to commemorate special memories from each year. So each December we choose a few ornaments to represent a special moment from the past year.

The collection has started to grow and it was so fun to talk about each memory as we put the ornament on the tree. And with Jack being almost 4, this year he was able to choose his own favorite memory for the year. He chose a fish ornament to represent going fishing in Wisconsin.

I won’t share all of our memories and travels but we now have a variety of ornaments each representing something special; a slice of pizza, a red phone booth, a seashell, a burger, a house, a frame of dried flowers and many others.

I can’t wait to see the collection grow and add new memories each year.
