Favorite Products of 2020

I’m back with my yearly round up of most loved/used products of the year. I love writing this post because it helps me really evaluate the things I use and value the most. It is something I keep in mind all year when it comes to new purchases or replacing other items. There are certain items that I turn to year after year meaning its a definite keeper. Here are my favorites from this year.

CLOTHING

Dudley Stephens: I don’t think this will ever not be included in a favorites post. I wear a Dudley Stephens at least twice a week if not more. It really is my mom uniform and I’m perfectly okay with that. They are comfortable with out feeling lazy. They help me feel put together even on days when I’m definitely not. You can grab $25 off your first order with this link.

Margaux Flats: These flats will forever be a favorite. I was skeptical about getting such a nice shoe right after becoming a mom because I know how messy life as a mom can be. But I’m so glad I finally got a pair. They are extremely comfortable while still looking chic. They will forever be one of my favorite pair of shoes. You can get 10% off your first order with the code LIVINGTAYLORED10. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Rothys: The perfect shoe for mom life. Comfortable and washable. Truly makes such a difference when you are chasing around a messy toddler all day. I love my Rothys and wear them regularly. You can get $20 off your first pair using this link.

SKIN/SELF CARE

Cleansing Balm: Still my favorite face cleanser over a year later. It has made such a big difference for my complexion. I don’t think I will ever use anything else. You can read my full post on switching to safer skincare here.

Overnight Resurfacing Peel: Another skin care favorite that has been a major game changer for me. There is a reason this overnight peel is so popular. It has done wonders for my skin and for several friends as well. Truly a hero product.

6 Minute Diary: I absolutely loved using this daily journal this year. It is a great way to begin and end each day taking stock of what you are grateful for, good things that happened and how you can improve. It really does just take a couple minutes each day but makes a huge impact on your daily outlook and mood.

ChappyWrap: Yes, to me a ChappyWrap is self care. They provide comfort and joy and have been exactly that in a challenging year. I use a ChappyWrap daily/nightly and so does Jack. They are the perfect blanket that your family will fight over so you may as well grab a couple of their super chic prints.

MOTHERHOOD/KIDS

Lovevery Subscription: Jack got a Lovevery play kit subscription for his first birthday and it has been so incredible for him. As a mom I always worried if he was playing with toys that will aid in his development. Lovevery takes the guess work away and send a box every 2-3 months that target the development skills appropriate for your child’s age. Its so much fun to watch Jack learn as he plays with the toys. He gets excited every time a new box arrives. It is definitely worth getting for your littles!

This year really helped me take stock of the things that I actually use and need. So much so that when it came time for Christmas lists I couldn’t even think of anything else that I wanted. My biggest goal for this coming year is to simplify and focus on quality items. I’ll be sharing more of that goal in the coming weeks.
