I have a new favorite piece in my wardrobe for this fall. The sweater blazer has been popular for a couple years now and to be honest I never really saw the appeal until I was doing a little closet overhaul. I started looking for long cardigans that weren’t too casual or frumpy looking. I wanted something that could be both comfortable and polished. And thats when I realized the sweater blazer was exactly what I was looking for.
Today I’m teaming up with my friend Sarah to share a few different ways we style our sweater blazers. Be sure to check out how she styles her sweater blazer over here!
Monochromatic

Everyday

I’m not someone who often wears sweats or pjs all day. I just feel lazy and unproductive when I do. So this is my go-to look for being comfortable but still put together- a casual button down and the MOST comfortable flats.

Bundled Up

One of the things I love most about the sweater blazer is how perfect it is for layering without looking like the Michelin Man.
You can throw on your favorite thick sweater or turtleneck with it (my personal favorite is the Dudley Stephens Park Slope), top with a scarf and add some warm boots and you’re perfectly bundled for a chilly fall day!

As a special bonus for my blog readers, I’m sharing a fourth look that I didn’t share on my Instagram collaboration with Sarah!
Date Night

There may not be a lot of date nights out of the house right now so why not opt for something comfortable and cute while you have a night in. I love pairing the camel sweater blazer with leopard print.
This look is also great for working from home or casual Friday at the office.
