I really struggle to find clothes for spring and summer that will keep me cool in the heat and humidity of Nebraska but that don’t look to casual or revealing. Because I work during the week and have to be somewhat dressy I try to find pieces that will work for the office and my days off as well.
Eyelet and ruffles have been very popular this season and more cute pieces keep popping up. I have always loved eyelet and it is the perfect light weight and breezy combo for hot summer days. I found several blouses that I thought would be great paired with both shorts/jeans on weekends and skirts for the work week.
After lots of debating (because I rarely buy anything as soon as I see it) I finally ordered this fun ruffled eyelet top knowing I would wear it often throughout the summer and even as it starts to cool down with a cardigan.

Definitely get a pair, I love them! I think they are pretty true to size. I range between and 8-9 and got these in an 8.5 🙂

Love this blouse! I’m the same way, I really debate about when I’m actually going to invest in clothing, but I think it increases my appreciation of it!
