A Few of My Favorite Things | 2025

At the end of each year I enjoy reflecting on the pieces that I loved using, made a difference in my life or brought me joy. The older I get the more selective I am in how I spend my time, energy and money. Some of these pieces have been on the list for several years while others are new additions. The Health & Beauty section is considerably longer than the other sections as health and self care were definitely a priority this past year. I hope this list helps you discover something you will love or that will make a difference in your life too.

Health & Beauty

AG1: I started taking AG1 last year and have continued to make it part of my morning routine. With it I take a vitamin C mix and collagen as well. This combo has helped with my energy and overall health.

Pilates Board: I ordered this at the end of 2024 have absolutely loved using it. I’ll admit I was definitely influenced after seeing so many ads on Instagram but it has absolutely been worth it. It is a great workout and one I actually look forward to! Even just a quick 15 minute workout a couple times a week makes a difference.

Ladder Fitness: I started doing workout with Mia Henry via the Ladder App last spring and these workouts are what made the biggest difference in my weight-loss and fitness. You can use this link to get a free 30 day pass to the app and workouts.

Ogee: I set out to overhaul my skincare this past Spring and decided to try Ogee after testing out my moms. I absolutely loved it and have continued to use several pieces in my routine. My favorites are the Seeds of Youth Serum, Clay Detox Mask (I try to use this 1-2 times a week), and Indigo Dream Renewal Cream.

Manucurist: I was struggling with soft and brittle nails and after hearing so many great things about Manucurist I decided to give it a try. My nails have never been healthier or stronger. I especially love their bare nail polishes for a clear and healthy look. My favorite colors are Pale Rose and Hortencia. They also have children’s polish which is also safe and clean, free of toxic ingredients.

Clothing

Jeans: As I started to lose weight last year I needed new jeans. I wanted to find a pair that made me feel great but could also hold up to life as a mom, often playing on the floor and chasing around kids. So many of my old jeans would quickly give out in the knees so I decided to invest in better pairs. I found a few styles that I truly love. The Rambler by Mother, the Dazzler also by Mother and Le Sleek Straight by Frame are my most worn pairs.

Home

Ninja Luxe Cafe: I hesitated to include this as I have only had it for 3 weeks, so take note of my limited experience with it. While it has only been a few weeks we have use it daily and truly love it. We previously had the Breville Barista and after about 5 years it stopped working. We went a few years without, but I missed having an espresso machine so this year we decided to try something new. The Ninja Luxe 4-in-1 has been so easy to use and makes incredible cappuccinos and the best part is it takes all the guess work out for you. The best way I can describe it is fancy coffee for dummies!

Books

Evergreen by Lydia Millen: This is my second year reading this book and I often revisit it. I love that it its broken up by seasons so you can find exactly the part that you need. I also have the audiobook version and I love listening to it in the car for inspiration.

Morning Routine Books: I have a collection of books that I visit each morning. It includes my favorite devotionals and a gratitude journal. I find starting my day with these helps shift my attitude and mindset.

Kids

The kids received Yoto Players last Christmas and they are still a huge hit. We use them almost daily, especially on car rides or road trips. They have so many stories and cards to choose from for all age groups.
