What is better than curling up with a warm drink, treats, and watching seasonal movies? I enjoy movie nights most in fall and winter so I was anxious for us to have a fall movie night at home. Not only is it a fun way to enjoy this cozy season but it is also an easy and simple date night in.
DinnerThe perfect cozy dinner for us is one of our favorite homemade soup recipes (which you can find here). We settled in for the night with our favorite Broccoli Cheddar Soup.
TreatsInstead of traditional movie night candy opt for seasonal treats! Apple cider, pumpkin bread, caramel corn, or caramel apples are great options. My combination of choice was apple cider and homemade pumpkin bread; such a cozy treat!
Movies
Unless you want to watch a thriller or horror movie for Halloween it is a bit hard to come up with good fall movies. Last year we watched “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown”. This year I came up with a few options like “Autumn in New York”, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”, “Practical Magic”, and “You’ve Got Mail”.
Curl up on the couch with your festive treats and cozy blankets for a fun and simple night in. I love simple date nights like this and always look forward to a relaxing night in. Any date night that allows cozy pjs and a warm drink is my idea of a great night.
The food looks so delicious! What a fun and special date night. xxAllie http://www.theallthatglittersblog.com

Yum! I would love to curl up on the couch and watch Charlie Brown movies and eat popcorn hehe. Horror movies are definitely not my thing.
