Ch-ch-changes

(I will now have that song stuck in my head for the remainder of the day, and you most likely will too if you get the reference/love 70’s music like I do.)

I’m going to be honest and admit that I hate change. I know its necessary and change can sometimes be a good thing, but for someone who likes plans and is slightly obsessive compulsive (okay, more than slightly…) change is a difficult thing.

Difficult, but necessary. Anytime you set a goal it is likely that changes will have to be made to achieve the goal. One of my favorite quotes is “If you want something you have never had, you have to be willing to do something you’ve never done” (-Thomas Jefferson).  Sometimes we have to put ourselves out there, take a leap in order to achieve something great. You can’t expect to reach your goals if you aren’t willing to make changes and sacrifices. Nothing will ever improve if we stick to our ways.

Even though I try to avoid change with all my might, I know that sometimes it is inevitable to reach a goal. Small changes don’t freak me out as much, its the big, swift changes that send me into a state of panic. So instead, I take baby-steps and make small adjustments to eventually get me where I need to be.

With that being said, I am going to be making some changes to Living Taylored to help it grow. May 3rd marks six months since I launched Living Taylored. I know that isn’t a HUGE milestone, but it has really flown by and so much has happened in the past six months.

I originally started Living Taylored as a creative outlet/hobby, but it has quickly grown into so much more than that. While there is still PLENTY of room to grow and develop the site I wanted to acknowledge this mini-milestone with a few small changes to Living Taylored. (Baby steps, folks… I’ll dive in eventually)

Similar to the Monday Series (Motivational Monday) I am going to be introducing a new Friday series (debuting on May 5th). I am also going to be making a few changes to the post schedule. I currently [try to] post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. With a new Friday series being introduced I am hoping to get in a 4th post every week on either Tuesday or Thursday.

When I started Living Taylored I really had no idea what would become of it. In the past few weeks especially I have received so much positive feedback and support from readers and it has encouraged me to keep moving forward. So thank you to everyone who reads and encourages me to keep at this.

I would love feedback on topics that you would like to see covered or read more about.

Thanks for being with me on this little journey 🙂

-Taylor
