I wish I would have understood this at a younger age. Growing up, as a young woman especially, the media fills us with the idea that being known for our size, beauty, style, etc. is important or defines us. In the end, those things don’t matter and aren’t going to help you become a better human being.

Being intelligent, courageous, loving and a role model, those are the characteristics that matter most. In everything you do remember these traits. Make intelligent choices, be brave in your actions, love others, and lead by example.

That is what the world needs more of.
